    microsoft defender threats reported

    Defender is popping up a message saying it has detected threats. However when I go into defender there are no current threats. What is it detecting?

    My brain is like a web browser. 50 tabs are open, half of them are frozen, I don't know where the music is coming from and a "low battery" notification just keeps popping up.

          I have avg ultimate which I believe takes over from defender

            New defender update released overnight appears to fix it. All is fine this morning.
            If you have AVG Yes windows defender should be disabled.
